The book is good though sometimes lengthy

The book is good though sometimes lengthy. To get citizenship you really need 2 things: 1. be an eligible green card holder, living a few years in the US (for exact eligibility rules see at immig dot US ), and fill out the application form at that same link. 2, you need to pass the US civics exam in english - so you need to answer questions about the constitution, bill of rights, etc , and while they ask you these during an oral interview, they also try to see if you can speak reasonable english. The process typically takes 3-6 months from the time you apply until you become a US citizen.

US Citizenship for Dummies
By Matt Richards
My wife ordered this book for herself after checking out several different books that her friends were using. This book is the most complete in terms of the information available under one cover -- it also proves easy to understand and utilize for someone who has learned English as their second language.

Excelente libro. Excellent book.

Great book. It has a lot of information about the US in various topics (geography, history, politics, general culture, etc). I think they give you a lot more info than you need to pass the citizenship exam, and I like that as well because I was looking for a book to help me learn about the culture and therefor "fit into" the community.
Even though it has a lot of data, it's written in a very easy way so that everyone can understand everything on the book.
I recommend it.
